TAILOR-MADE TRAVEL IN AFRICA

Africa is not one kind of journey. A private safari in Botswana asks for a different pace from South Africa, while Morocco, Rwanda and the Indian Ocean each reward a completely different way of travelling. Season, distance, access and the right place to stay matter as much as the destination itself.

Our tailor-made Africa journeys are built around those differences. We look at where wildlife is moving, how much time a route genuinely needs, which camps or hotels justify the journey, and where privacy or slower travel will make the experience better.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO IN AFRICA

MEDINAS, ANCIENT CITIES & SACRED SITES

Africa’s history is not something to rush through. In Morocco, Marrakech and Fez reward time with a private guide who can take you beyond the obvious routes. Egypt works best when Cairo, Luxor and the Nile are paced carefully rather than squeezed into a checklist. Further south, Ethiopia’s rock-hewn churches offer a completely different view of the continent.

For travellers drawn to culture, the difference often comes down to timing, the right guide and leaving enough space in the itinerary to understand the place rather than simply pass through it.

INDIAN OCEAN ISLANDS & COASTAL STAYS

Africa’s Indian Ocean coast can be a journey in its own right or a slower ending after safari. Zanzibar pairs naturally with Tanzania, while Mozambique offers remote beaches and small island stays with far fewer people around. Mauritius and the Seychelles suit travellers looking for more polished resort options, but each has a very different character.

The right choice depends on season, sea conditions, privacy and how much you want to do once you arrive. We would rather match the island to the trip than add a beach stop simply because it is nearby.
